Concept & Product Vision
TuneLab is designed as a platform where users can customize existing cars or create them from scratch, identify vehicles using AI-powered camera recognition, and explore detailed information about each model.
The concept introduces a creative layer where customized vehicles could potentially be exported and used inside a driving videogame environment.
The goal of the platform is to combine automotive exploration, customization and digital creativity within a single product experience.
User Research
The project included surveys, interviews and competitive benchmarking to better understand how users interact with vehicle customization tools and automotive information platforms.
The research helped identify key expectations among automotive enthusiasts, particularly the importance of visual exploration, detailed specifications and intuitive customization workflows.
These insights informed the structure of the application and helped prioritize the most relevant features for the user experience.
Target Users
Primary audience includes car enthusiasts, driving videogame players and automotive design students or professionals.
Secondary audiences include manufacturers, collectors and users interested in vehicle customization and car culture.
Typical age range: 18–35.
Design Approach
The interface was designed with a modular structure that supports clear navigation between vehicle configuration, identification and information features.
From a UI perspective, the design focuses on clarity, visual hierarchy and consistency across screens. A structured design system and reusable components help maintain coherence throughout the application.
This approach ensures that complex information and customization options remain easy to explore and interact with.
